GM brings luxury subscription service to LA and Dallas

The service gives subscribers access to a range of top-line vehicles, including the XT5, CT6 (and its plug-in hybrid version), Escalade, ATS-V and CTS-V. This comes after a successful NY pilot program showed "overwhelming interest".

Book by Cadillac also is piloting the subscription program in Munich, Germany, which could lead to expansion in other European markets.

Book by Cadillac, a plan to get luxury customers in multiple models at their whim, is now available in Los Angeles and Dallas metro areas. "Introducing the service in Los Angeles and Dallas is a natural evolution of the program".

Reaching new luxury vehicle buyers, especially in markets like New York, Los Angeles and Dallas is crucial to Cadillac's long-term strategy to compete directly against Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi, all of which now have a wider portfolio of models, especially in the crossover segments. Members can browse a Cadillac portfolio and based on their needs, exchange a vehicle up to 18 times per year, all through a white-glove concierge service at a location of their choosing, like a home or office. That includes not only use of the vehicle, but insurance and maintenance too. Total driving mileage is limited to 2,000 miles per month. All come equipped with Premium or Platinum trim, ensuring a high level of content.
