Thermaltake's new product is a gaming chair that cools your butt

Thermaltake's new product is a gaming chair that cools your butt”

The X COMFORT AIR professional gaming chair comes with a state-of-the-art air-cooling system created to keep gamers cool in the heat of battle. Featuring fans underneath the seat, Thermaltake claims that this is the world's first air-cooled gaming chair.

That's right: the X Comfort Air has fans to cool its seat. "The use of high-quality components in the fan blade design provides a whopping 75,000-hour lifespan, which is double than that of industry standard and provides utmost performance and reliability", explains Thermaltake.

The company has designed the fan blades in a wind blocker frame that drags a greater amount of air towards the middle section, preventing air escaping via a compression effect. In addition, the use of a breathable mesh under the PVC leather with unique ventilation holes enhances cooling and reduces noise and vibration. There is also a three-button controller that lets you adjust the speed of the fan to get your desired level of cooling.

The X Comfort Air also boasts numerous usual features found in pricey gaming chairs: 4D armrests, adjustable head and back support, dense foam padding, faux leather, breathable mesh, and a multi-function lockable tilt mechanism.

There are two models, a black and red version, and an all black which both will be priced at $500 (RM2094.75) and is available for purchase now. A bit more expensie than many gaming chairs, but your ass will thank you for it. More information on the X Comfort Air can be found here.
