Washington Wizards vs. Sacramento Kings - 11/13/17 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction”

Bradley Beal is averaging 24.6 points and 4.6 rebounds while John Wall is averaging 20.3 points and 9.7 assists. But after the first nine minutes of last night's game, the Kings scored 27 points to just 17 for the Wizards. He is second on the Kings in scoring at 12.3 points per game, but Sacramento as a team ranks ahead of only Chicago in scoring at 94.8 per game.

George Hill scored 13 of his 16 points in the first quarter for Sacramento (3-10).

Wall has averaged 17.8 points and 10.2 assists in 13 lifetime games versus the Kings and has shot well from 3-point range, hitting 18 of 38 in those contests.

The Kings (3-10) have lost two in a row and finish their trip Wednesday at Atlanta. The Washington Wizards are shooting 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and 77.3 percent from the free throw line. The Washington Wizards are allowing 33.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43 rebounds per game. Zach Randolph has averaged 14.3 points and 9.1 rebounds in 28 lifetime matchups but hasn't had a double-double against them since 2013/14.

"Defense, that's the key", Wall stated. That's what we were good at previous year.

The lineup of Tim Frazier, Jodie Meeks, Kelly Oubre, Mike Scott and Ian Mahinmi entered the second quarter trailing by seven points, and in just 90 seconds they cut the lead to one point thanks to consecutive baskets by Meeks and a layup by Oubre.

Washington outrebounded Sacramento 50-34. The Wizards built the margin to 22 late in the period.

"We hung in there in the first half but in the second half they came out, they got in the paint, (and) we took a lot of jump shots", Kings coach Dave Joerger said. "They ran out on us a lot in transition and kind of got away from us".

Temple and Skal Labissiere each had 12 points. Rookie guard De'Aaron Fox scored 11 for the Kings.

The Kings looked good in the first quarter, when the starters played the bulk of the minutes. Sacramento have no momentum right now, and they need Hill and Temple to have big games to have any chance of getting back on track.. Things unraveled from there. "On the offensive end I think we stopped sharing the ball a little bit more and starting settling a little bit more".

Hill added, "On the road with a young team, you can't have those lulls where you take possessions off".

The Sacramento Kings came into last night's game averaging just 94.6 points per game - good for 29th in the National Basketball Association - and just two weeks ago when they played the Wizards, they scored 32 points in the first half and 83 points for the entire game. Kings F Vince Carter (kidney stone) missed his third consecutive game. Washington never trailed and led by as many as 37 points in the first meeting at Sacramento.

After a less than stellar loss to the Dallas Mavericks at the start of their four-game home stand, the Washington Wizards have now won three straight games in convincing fashion. The Wizards begin a home-and-home set with the Heat on Thursday in Miami before playing Saturday in Washington. As good as his play was on the court, his comments after the game about hard work and growth-words that he's been using to describe his growth all season-continue to be refreshing evidence that he's maturing.
