Indian Army men set new world record, ride on single motorcycle”

A group of 58 men of the Indian Army Service Corps (ASC), "Tornadoes", created a new.

In a spectacular display of audacity, 58 Indian Army personnel set a new world record by riding a single motorcycle at the Indian Air Force base in Bengaluru, India, according to army sources quoted in NDTV.

Formed in 1982, the team now holds a total of 19 world and national records and according to the New Indian Express, the "Tornadoes" pride themselves on their reputation for performing daring stunts and breaking-records.

On Sunday, the team was led by Major Bunny Sharma and the motorcycle was steered by Subedar Rampal Yadav.

"First is the rider himself, who's controlling the mechanical parts of the bike such as gears and brakes and everything - the handle".

"So, and the third one is the navigator, who is immediately assisting the rider in where he is going". Research for the stunt began in 2013. In 2010, they broke the record for 54 men on a single moving bike in 2010 and 37 men on single moving bike in 2005 among others. The team was formed in 1982 and presently holds 19 world and national records. The act was attempted for the world records at the Air Force station in Yelahanka.
