Superhot reveals Mind Control Delete standalone expansion

For those interested in Early Access, the team have promised that those involved will get insight into some of "of the brand new gameplay systems that are going to be central to the game", including new weapons and abilities in addition to "Procedural rogue-like run generation baked into the core gameplay loop, enabling us to tell longer, more complex stories and deliver tons more of satisfying skill-based gameplay".

A standalone expansion called Mind Control Delete for SUPERHOT has been revealed, and it will add a rogue-like twist to the slow-motion action game. Find out in Superhot: Mind Control Delete. The expansion is strictly non-VR, so don't worry about having a headset. It has only been announced for Steam, and those who already own the original Superhot will receive the standalone expansion for free when the full version is expected to release in 9-12 months, or "autumn-ish 2018".

The pitch for the original game was simple enough: time only moves when you do, so the faster you move, the faster time moves as well.

In Mind Control Delete, you will face increasingly hard challenges. These can be accessed via an unlock system and a power-up store, and there are even new playable characters. Though of course, this is a roguelike, so mistakes will cost you dearly. According to the SUPERHOT Team, it's approximately a year away from release but players can participate starting tomorrow through Steam Early Access. Superhot VR is available on PC (with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive support) and PS VR.
