Jessica Jones season 2 trailer shows Jessica still likes a drink

Jessica Jones season 2 trailer shows Jessica still likes a drink”

Krysten Ritter did an incredible job of bringing Marvel hero Jessica Jones to life when the Netflix original series "Jessica Jones" made its way onto the streaming platform back in 2015, and with a second season nearly immediately commissioned by the company, fans can now plan their binge-viewing around an official premiere date in 2018.

Finally, the moment for which all Jessica Jones fans were waiting, is here!

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ritter talked about the upcoming season, which digs deeper into the backstory of the trauma the superhero experienced in Season 1; that season's main villain, David Tennant's Kilgrave, returns in some capacity in Season 2.

"Jessica Jones is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormentor, Kilgrave". Jessica's getting back to her private eye roots and digging into the mysteries of her past - specifically, her connection to Roxxon and just what the organisation did to give her her abilities. We'd be lying if we said we weren't beyond excited to see her wreck him a second glorious time. "If season 1 was in her head and in her mind, then season 2 will be more in her heart". "It's still a psychological thriller, but it's more of an emotional thriller this time".

Check out the new trailer below, and look out for the new season on Netflix March 8, 2018.
