Rise Of The Tomb Kings DLC Announced For Total War: Warhammer II

Rise Of The Tomb Kings DLC Announced For Total War: Warhammer II”

This is of course testament to its scope and scale, which is one of the reasons we named it our Best Strategy Game of 2017.

With the announcement of the upcoming expansion of Total War: Warhammer 2 the corresponding trailer was presented, that you can see at the end of this article. Now, however, the Tomb Kings have been awakened by the other mortal races, and march from their cities to reclaim their Empire's glory.

In the background of the Warhammer world, the Tomb Kings were originally the Empire of Nehekhara, the first great civilization of humanity. Rise of the Tomb Kings is a campaign pack that's due on January 23, 2018 for the game's Eye of the Vortex campaign and Mortal Empires. Instead, the Tomb Kings will be gathering the nine books of Nagash, which contain the sum of all of his necromantic knowledge.

For all users of Total War: Warhammer 2 there is excellent news to close the year as SEGA and Creative Assembly presented their next expansion that will bring a new faction: Rise of the Tomb Kings.

Across the arid deserts of Nehekhara, vast legions of skeletal warriors rise from beneath the baking sands to slaughter those who trespass into their domain.

The DLC is a Campaign Pack which will introduce four new playable factions, each with their own Legendary Lord and specific mechanics including Settra the Impossible, High Queen Khalida, Grand Hierophant Khatep and Arkhan the Black. More information can be found via this blog post.
