Comic legend Stan Lee denies sexual misconduct allegations”

Comic book icon Stan Lee has been accused of groping and sexually harassing nurses that cared for him at his home on a 24-hour basis.

The nursing company that employed the women is now reportedly involved in an unspecified legal dispute with Lee. The Marvel movie franchise is the most successful in history with $23 billion in box-office receipts, and Lee is worth about $50 million, according to the Daily Mail.

An attorney for Lee said that his client "categorically denies" the "false and despicable" allegations and has full intent to defend his "stellar good name".

This report from the Daily Mail doesn't identify a single person by name, nor does it identify the nursing company in question.

After receiving the complaints, the company's owner claims to have spoken with Lee directly. Stan "The Man" Lee, who began his career as Stanley Lieber before finding success in the 1960s with the upstart Marvel Comics Group, now stands accused of a multitude of sins by the company that previously supplied him with a steady stream of young nurses to tend to his medical needs. According to the source, Lee finds the harassment to be amusing and does not care about how it affects the women.

Lee - who began working with Marvel in the late 1950s and went on to co-create some of the world's best-known superheroes, including Spiderman, the X-Men, and the Incredible Hulk - has remained active in the company's properties, and regularly appears in cameo roles in Marvel's blockbuster films.

He's also very handsy and has groped some of the women, it's unacceptable behavior, especially from an icon like Stan. Instead, Mr. Lee has received demands to pay money and threats that if he does not do so, the accuser will go to the media. Mr.

"Various anonymous individuals have attempted to extort money from Mr. Entertainment it's our policy to not comment on personal issues relating to Stan Lee and his life".

The accusations come after a slew of powerful men in Hollywood have been felled by allegations of harassment and assault, including movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and comedian Louis C.K.
