Mario Tennis Aces heading to Switch this spring

Mario Tennis Aces heading to Switch this spring”

Mario Tennis Aces has been announced for Nintendo Switch, and launches this spring.

For the first time since Mario Tennis on the Game Boy Advance a story mode will be featured and can be seen in the screenshots Nintendo has released.

Almost three years after the last game in the spin-off series, Mario and friends are heading back to the court to serve up a new game. The story mode is clearly the biggest addition, featuring a board game-like movement system that gave off some Mario Superstar Baseball vibes.

Not a lot has been revealed about this title today so we'll have to wait for more information. What Nintendo did confirm is that the game is being developed by one of its long-time sports developers Camelot. It's unclear right now how many players Mario Tennis Aces is going to support when it arrives.

Anyone that likes tennis gear will also be pleased to hear Nintendo made a point to mention that Mario will be wearing "classy tennis garb".
