Lindsey Graham Challenged Donald Trump On Alleged Immigration Remark”

Trump reportedly referred to Haiti, El Salvador and African nations as "s...hole countries" during a White House meeting with lawmakers on immigration reform yesterday, questioning why he should accept immigrants from those places, rather than from countries like Norway.

The meeting in question took place to discuss the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, allowing undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children to seek temporary protection, which Trump proposes to scrap entirely.

"Why do we want all these people from "s*#&hole countries" coming here?"

"Why do we need more Haitians?" the Washington Post quoted him as saying, citing people briefed on the meeting.

Also Friday, the House's leadership rejected Trump's comments-if they're true, they said.

President Donald Trump is denying he said "anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country".

Trump's reported comments during the meeting with legislators Thursday drew charges of racism.

Unfortunately for Cotton and Purdue, Republican Lindsey Graham of SC was also there, and he told his fellow senator from that state, Tim Scott, that the reported comments are "basically accurate".

In the USA, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) accused the president of falling "deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole of racism and xenophobia".

"Not racial. Not racially charged. Racist ... The sentiment the president expressed today is a racist sentiment", he said.

U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., D-9th Dist., tweeted that Trump is "showing his bigoted tendencies in ways that would make Archie Bunker blush".

"This is CNN Tonight, I'm Don Lemon".

Let's get this out of the way first: Donald Trump, the President of the United States, is indisputably racist. "A lot of us already knew that".

The news anchor addressed Trump supporters who, he says, blindly support the president's oppressive, bigoted and even racist views and make excuses for his conduct. "An terrible a lot of immigrants come to this country from other places that aren't very nice".

"Immigration offer on "dreamers" fails,"the headline reads on the broadsheet front page".

He also denied demanding that Haitians be removed from negotiations about protected status for people from certain countries.

"The American family was born from immigrants fleeing persecution and poverty and searching for a better future".
