Apple's 2018 WWDC event starts June 4th”

Apple announced Tuesday that its Woldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is kicking off June 4th in San Jose. However, tickets will be issued through a random selection process with developers being notified of their application status by March 23. The event is scheduled for June 4th through 8th and like a year ago, it will take place in San Jose's McEnery Convention Center. According to the company, "over 100 technical and design-focused sessions" will be presented by Apple engineers, alongside hands-on labs, one-on-one consultations, and get-togethers with other developers. Developers can apply for tickets now through March 22 at 10AM PT / 1PM ET through Apple's WWDC site.

There will also be up to 350 WWDC Student Scholarships available, which provides free tickets for aspiring young developers to attend the conference.
