He made no complain to police.

Celtic winger Scott Sinclair was the subject of a verbal assault at Glasgow Airport in the aftermath of the Old Firm derby, according to reports.

Sinclair made no formal complaint to officers.

The match between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow ended 3-2 in Celtic's favour.

A spokesman for Glasgow Airport said: "I can confirm there was an incident in the BA lounge".

"Police did attend the lounge at around 5.15pm on Sunday March 11 and two men were asked to leave the lounge". Download it today and continue to enjoy STV News wherever you are.

But the real drama for Sinclair didn't take place until several hours after.

"Advice was given to staff and no further action was taken".

It was understood that the former Chelsea and Manchester City attacker was attacked verbally and not physically, leading to three men being removed from the airport by police.
