Nokia X6 to launch in China today”

HMD Global is gearing up to launch the long-time rumoured smartphone, the Nokia X or Nokia X6 in China today.

The name of the phone which is going to be launch is not disclosed yet. So, if we keep Nokia X6 in mind, Nokia X series devices may be slightly better than the corresponding main-stream Nokia smartphones differing in design and features. The base storage variant of Nokia X6 with 3GB RAM is expected to retail for around RMB 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,500).

If reports are to be believed further, a Chinese retailer, Suning has leaked the details of the smartphone. The launch event will take place at Beijing Minsheng Museum Modern Art, and the launch will be live streamed on JD.com, Suning.com, and Tmall.com, apart from numerous other live stream partners. However, the rumors have indicated that the company is going to launch its Nokia X-Series smartphone. Furthermore, the Nokia X6 has also been spotted on Geekbench revealing specification details.

The Nokia X6 is expected to come in three variants - 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM memory. Not only that, the Nokia X6 was also spotted on certification sites like TENNA and Geekbench, the listings of which revealed nearly all the key specs that the phone is expected to come packed with. The most highlighted feature of the phone is its iPhone X-style notch on the display. But we will know more in a couple of hours when HMD Global officially launches the smartphone.

The smartphone is expected to sport a 5.8-inch full-HD+ TFT display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. It is likely to run on the Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The handset comes with a dual rear camera setup which includes a 12MP (wide) with 13MP (telephoto) sensor powered by Zeiss optics. In terms of internals, the smartphone might arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 or a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, coupled with 4GB/ 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB inbuilt storage.
