Pauley Perrette responds to CBS statement on "multiple physical assaults" tweets

Pauley Perrette responds to CBS statement on

The Canadian musician, who was married to Perrette, 49, between 2002 and 2006, insisted the actress, who recently filmed her final scenes as Abby Sciuto for "NCIS", also sent "malicious, harassing and legally defamatory" emails to his friends and associates after he was elected to the Hollywood United Neighbourhood Council.

So whatever beef she has is not with the suits but with folks inside the show leaking what she thinks are false narratives about why she left.

Last week, fans of the CBS show were devastated when Pauley left after 15 years. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution.

Perrette's publicist, Stephen Jaffe, told Global News Monday that at this time, neither he nor his client have any further comment in regards to the tweets.

When she initially announced she was leaving NCIS in October of a year ago, she made it clear that her relationship with CBS was totally fine, and it had nothing to do with her departure.

Added Perrette, "There is a "machine" keeping me silent, and feeding FALSE stories about me".

In a series of messages on Twitter, Pauley said that "I feel I have to protect my crew, jobs and so many people".

Their words confirm some of the details mentioned in Perrette's tweets, though they don't directly say it was the reason behind her departure from NCIS.

"I refused to go low, that's why I've never told publicly what happened", she began on May 13. No morals, no obligation to truth, and I'm just left here, reading the lies, trying to protect my crew.

"I've been supporting ant-bullying programs forever", she tweeted. If you believe them? You clearly don't know me. If it's school or work, that you're required to go to? Please leave me alone. Multiple Physical Assaults. I REALLY get it now. Trying to remain calm. Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety. "We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows". "I don't know", she wrote.
