White woman calls the cops on black investor

White woman calls the cops on black investor”

Michael Hayes is a Memphis, Tennessee real estate investor who posted a amusing but sad video of the angry woman berating, threatening him and rushing him out of the neighborhood, reports the Daily Mail. Checking out of an Airbnb.

A woman who called the police on a black man inspecting a home he was interested in buying is now claiming she is not racist.

As real estate investor Michael Hayes writes, he went to the house, which is in a dilapidated condition, to inspect it.

The woman then told Hayes to hurry up with the job and get out of her neighborhood. The woman came out of the house and asked him what he was doing.

Luckily for Hayes, the cops were understanding and told him that if the woman continued to bother him, she'd be arrested. "But she wasn't listening to that".

But the neighbor Hayes is seen arguing with in the video told a different story when reached Wednesday.

However, in this rare and documented scenario, the cops actually listened to, and sided with Hayes.

He was rolling when a squad auto from the Memphis Police Department rolled up.

When the police arrived on the scene, Hayes calmly explained the situation to the officers, who were sympathetic to what he was saying.

"So we're out here at a house now, one of where we're under contract to pick up on, and for whatever reason, the neighbor has called the police on us", Hayes said to the camera before asking the woman if the cops said when they'd be coming.

The officer then walks over to the woman's yard and talks to her, warning her to leave Hayes alone.

"Just go in there and do what you gotta do and hurry up. You're going to let him do what he's going to do", the officer, motioning to Hayes and the house, says to the woman. The officers agreed and stayed outside while Hayes went inside and clicked pictures of the property.

A police report on the confrontation was not filed because "no criminal act was committed", Lt. Karen Rudolph of the Memphis Police Department told CNN in a statement.

"The police, they were on my side", Hayes says at the end of the video. He also alluded that the woman called the police on him simply because of his race. "She calls the police on me so I wait for them. Hurry up!" she yells at Hayes.

"I'm Spanish", Albert said. It's nothing racist about it.

She also says the vacant house is a hot bed for crime, so she was anxious when she woke up to the sound of the boards being pulled off.

The officers then told her that since Hayes was allowed to be there, he could take his time.
