Fleury stops Jets as Knights take 2-1 series lead”

The Las Vegas Golden Knights took a 2-1 series lead over the Winnipeg Jets in the Western Conference Finals Wednesday night, and it's starting to seem like a certain custom exotic vehicle may have had something to do with it. The Jets have outscored opponents on the road 21-9 in their last seven games.

Neal returned to score a goal and set up another in the second period for the expansion Golden Knights.

The Vegas Golden Knights are scheduled to host a watch party for Game 5 against the Winnipeg Jets during the Stanley Cup Playoffs at Toshiba Plaza on May 20.

The Jets showed some life in the third period on Wednesday, and certainly outplayed what appeared to be a tired Vegas team over the final 20 minutes, but Fleury was outstanding in coming up with tremendous highlight saves to preserve the win.

Neal and Alex Tuch scored goals just 2:33 apart in the first half of the second period to give Vegas a 3-1 lead. And if the Jets can't get more production outside of Scheifele, they'll find themselves on the brink of elimination after Friday's game.

After the Jets came out flying in a 4-2 win in the opener of the Western Conference Final, they tried to beat the Knights with speed and finesse in Game 2 but failed in a 3-1 loss in Winnipeg. "They're going to have their games, we're going to have our games". After Wednesday night's 4-2 victory, that puts the Golden Knights in the cat bird's seat.

History is against the Jets, who are trailing in a series for the first time this post-season. He doesn't carry it too heavy with him. "You can definitely see the momentum changing in this series".

The total is 5½ (Over minus 115), and the Knights are plus 220 on the puck line.

According to a statement from the team, the cost of admission is free and the public is encouraged to arrive at least one hour before the game starts.

There are just no words to describe Marc-Andre Fleury.

"I think we've been capitalizing on some chances we've been getting", Vegas forward Cody Eakin said after Thursday's practice.

So does Fleury, who leads the National Hockey League with a career-best 1.70 goals-against average during the playoffs.

It's been a fun series so far between these two teams.

"Vegas just keeps on grinding, stays disciplined and keeps playing their system with a bunch of guys that really have something to prove", Lane said.
