Samantha Bee Calls Ivanka Trump the C-Word in 'Full Frontal' Segment

"Tearing children away from their parents is so evil, it's the inciting incident in nearly every movie we've ever cared about", Bee said during her monologue, presenting Obama-era photos of undocumented children sleeping in cages.

"The collective silence by the left and its media allies is appalling", Sanders said in a statement to The Wrap. See the clip from her show and read their tweets!

On Wednesday night, comedian Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a "feckless cunt", calling her out for doing nothing to stop the practice of separating children from their parents at the border.

Ms. Bee made the comment in the opening monologue of her show on TBS in reference to a tweet Ms. Trump posted of her and her son.

Radio host Erick Erickson tweeted that equating Bee's words with Barr's tweet is valid, adding that "most of you who think it is [false equivalence] would agree with me if it was someone other than a Trump being attacked". ABC cancelled Barr's popular sitcom Tuesday after she leveled a racially offensive tweet against former Barack Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett. Now under Trump, Bee said, the situation is getting "so much worse".

Bee seems to have felt Ivanka's tweet was tone deaf given the widespread outrage over reports of roughly 1,500 unauthorized immigrant children whom the USA government placed with relatives or other sponsors, and whose whereabouts the government has since lost track of.

"How is this acceptable?" she wrote. We have had terrible immigration practices since, well, always. Former Republican senator Rick Santorum said Sunday on CNN that "we lose people all the time". The host then responded to Homeland Security director Kirstjen Nielsen's comments that the families are separated because they are breaking the law. You know the saying Love is Love?

Ivanka Trump was criticized in light of reports that the Office of Refugee Resettlement lost track of 1,500 immigrant children in the last three months of 2017. "How about we don't make a ton more minors unaccompanied and we don't treat any kids like criminals", suggested Bee.

Bee then pointed out that many Americans are paying attention to the issue, though there is one person in particular that has yet to acknowledge the problem.
