The most exciting games from Square Enix's E3 showcase

The most exciting games from Square Enix's E3 showcase”

Square Enix showed off a chunk of gameplay from the upcoming Tomb Raider game, showing Lara Croft pulling off a whole bunch of deadly and creative stealth assassinations.

It's a big day for E3 2018 press conferences, and Square Enix is the early bird that catches the Twitch eyeballs, starting off a day of hype.

We'll be seeing a lot of the games in the flesh over the next couple of days, so we'll be able to talk about them in more detail then.

It's out next year, but only for PlayStation 4 and PC.

More information was promised in August, which perhaps means Gamescom. We already got a new release date for Kingdom Hearts III that has the game due out on January 29, but Square Enix didn't show anything new about the game and instead chose to use a trailer that was already shared during a previous E3 conference.

Babylon's Fall is a totally new project for Square Enix, but it wasn't the only never-before-seen game that was revealed.

The world's of Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are coming together under one roof this summer in what appears to be a collaboration that pits Final Fantasy characters against beasts from Monster Hunter.

We're also really looking forward to playing the free prequel to Life Is Strange 2, called The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit - which will be released on June 26.
