Canada parliament condemns U.S. attack on Trudeau, country simmers”

Canada hosted this summit for EU, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom and USA. Tagging President Trump, he tweeted: Others just took the opportunity to laugh. "He did a whole disservice to the whole G-7".

Trump and his deputies took issue with Trudeau for telling a news conference at the end of the G7 conference that Canada would not be pushed around on tariffs - a point he had made several times before.

One of its early tweets read: numerous jokes were directed at the XX-year-old Canadian President, who bore the brunt of a twitter attack from President Trump and his White House advisers. "And that's what bad faith Justin Trudeau did at that stunt press conference".

Normally a conciliatory, charming figure, Justin Trudeau is being forced to transform himself into a kind of "Captain Canada" in order to fight a trade war with Donald Trump that has the potential to be as destructive as it is surprising.

"Kim must not see American weakness", Kudlow said.

As he flew from Quebec to Singapore for a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Trump responded to Trudeau's comments on Saturday by withdrawing the United States from a joint document that summarized what was agreed to at the G-7 summit. "He can't do that".

Trump said a photograph released by German Chancellor Angela Merkel's spokesman that went viral captured a friendlier mood than what the snapshot conveyed to many analysts.

Mulroney, who has a personal relationship with Trump and has been quietly advising the prime minister on how to deal with the mercurial USA president, likened Trump's weekend tirade to "serious summer squalls". "Our Tariffs are in response to his of 270% on dairy!", Trump wrote in a second tweet.

Commentators saw a parallel in past tensions between Trudeau's father and Richard Nixon, when the then-leader of the United States called Trudeau senior, in private conversations, a "pompous egghead" and a "clever son of a bitch".

He also asked why he should allow countries to amass "Massive Trade Surpluses, as they have for decades, while our Farmers, Workers & Taxpayers have such a big and unfair price to pay? Not fair to the PEOPLE of America!" he tweeted. $800 Billion Trade Deficit... In the prime minister's absence the House unanimously adopted a motion to stand against USA tariffs and tirades.

"All Mr. Trudeau was doing, in a rather gentle way, was articulating the position of his government, which would be the position of any Canadian government in these circumstances", he said, adding that the counter-tariffs make sense.

"First of all, we'll try and see if we can prevent this".
