Warm and dry tonight, storm chances rumble in for Monday

Warm and dry tonight, storm chances rumble in for Monday”

While that's great news for the outdoors activities, we could us some rain around here, as the last 6 weeks have been quite dry overall.

Tomorrow night: Increasing clouds.

A line of storms will form and slowly push south through the evening, bringing with it the chance for damaging winds in excess of 70 miles per hour along with the potential for some very large hail over two inches in diameter. There is a complex of showers and storms moving through IL and IN thi which will impact the Miami Valley this afternoon.

We're pretty much picking up right where we left off this weekend as dry weather prevails to kick off this work week. The main threat will be gusty winds and heavy rainfall that could cause localized flooding. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. Even as the rain may diminish toward morning, drizzle and fog are likely to persist, with continued onshore flow from the east. Temperatures slowly drop toward lows in the 60s. Keep reading for the forecast through midweek ... This will bring more chances of showers and storms for the start of the workweek.

With a lot of tropical moisture in the air coupled with high temperatures, South Florida can expect similar conditions throughout the week.

We'll continue to monitor the rain chances throughout the week.

Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy.
