Robert De Niro dissed Donald Trump

Robert De Niro dissed Donald Trump”

"I'm going to say one thing - f**k Trump!" he said, pumping his fists in the air. "F - k you, Donald Trump".

It's far from the first time De Niro has spoken about Trump.

Heffernan, who has also been a regular presence in the New York Times, Slate and Wired over the years, has always been critical of Trump in her writing.

Trump is yet to respond to De Niro's latest outburst, but we can be pretty sure he probably will.

The Oscar-winning De Niro, 74, was at the annual event for the top U.S. theater awards late Sunday to introduce a performance from rock legend Bruce Springsteen.

De Niro made his comments at a groundbreaking ceremony for a Nobu hotel in Toronto.

Actor Robert De Niro received an onslaught of criticism after he appeared at the Tony Awards on Sunday and said "F**k Trump". The statement was followed by a standing ovation from the crowd.

With all of his many moves that many believe have divided America, and helped to encourage a unsafe social climate where guns are prized, President Trump was not a popular figure at the 2018 Tony Awards. "Boy, do we need that now".

The CBS television network, which was broadcasting the event live but with a delay of a few seconds, bleeped out De Niro's expletive. "Good for him. I mean, it's Robert De Niro. Who's gonna argue with him?" he said.

Kushner denounced Trump's presidency as "the Hitler mistake" that let a "borderline psychotic narcissist in the White House".

ABC's talk show The View's co-host Meghan McCain also critiqued De Niro: "When you're talking about how Trump is degrading our national discourse with his language, this is not the way to combat Trump, it only helps him".
