Trump slams Robert De Niro as 'a very Low IQ individual'

Trump slams Robert De Niro as 'a very Low IQ individual'”

But a day after his historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Donald Trump has managed to spew out a little more ire for... actor Robert De Niro.

"De Niro threw his arms in the air defiantly as the crowd cheered and gave him a standing ovation". "I watched him last night and truly believe he may be "punch-drunk".

Robert De Niro got censored for saying "F-k Trump" live on the Tony Awards stage Sunday night, but President Trump definitely heard about it.

De Niro was introducing Bruce Springsteen, who is starring in a Broadway production of his own, which has sold out tickets for months. Earlier this year, the "Godfather Part II" star called Trump a "jerkoff in chief" and "a f-king idiot". At this point, we all know that you can't publicly insult President Donald Trump without getting a childish retort, and POTUS has indeed tweeted his comeback.

Yesterday De Niro apologised - not for his comments but on behalf of the USA president.

'I just want to make a note of apology for the idiotic behavior of my president, ' he said.

"It's a disgrace. And I apologise to Justin Trudeau and the other people at the G7".

De Niro is a seven-time Academy Award nominee, and won Oscars for playing Vito Corleone in "The Godfather Part II" and Jake LaMotta in "Raging Bull".

An outspoken critic of Trump since the 2016 presidential election, De Niro has chastised Trump in multiple public appearances in the past few days.

Of course, De Niro has made no secret of his hatred for Trump - he previously said "Trump's so blatantly stupid".
