Why Coutinho was pelted with eggs by Neymar and teammates

Why Coutinho was pelted with eggs by Neymar and teammates”

Neymar joked about Austria's tactics after Brazil cruised to a 3-0 friendly win on Sunday and said his team are dreaming big ahead of FIFA World Cup 2018.

Neymar, making his first start since February, doubled the lead midway through the second half, slotting in after a nice piece of skill, BBC reports.

Gabriel Jesus and Philippe Coutinho scored the other goals for the five-times champions who showed great patience in the first half as they worked to break Austria down before turning on the style after the interval.

Marko Arnautovic gave Brazil a couple of early frights before the South Americans went ahead in the 36th minute, Jesus scoring with a delightful dinked effort from a hard angle for his 10th goal in 17 internationals.

Brazil couldn't deliver when they were the hosts but with Neymar back and the attack firing on all cylinders, this could certainly be their year.

Against Austria, he had no attempt on goal in the opening hour but went down three times following rough challenges by the home side. "When we spring him into action in the last third of the field, he is lethal". Similar fouls were committed by Florian Grillitsch in the 35th and Sebatian Proedl in the 53rd.

It fed data on team characteristics, individual players, and recent team performance into four machine learning models to analyse the number of goals scored in each match.

Costa's return was also good news for Tite. The Brazilian squad will hold a public training on June 12.

Without providing details of the injury, Tite said Fred's situation was "improving" but didn't hint whether the midfielder could be back for the team's World Cup opener.

While his ultimate goal will be to catch a fellow Santos icon in Pelé, as the three-time World Cup victor stands clear at the top of the list with 77.

"It will depend on how far we go, how we're going to finish" at the finals, Messi told Spanish daily Sport.

The 26-year-old then started in Vienna on Sunday, scoring Brazil's second in the straightforward win, of which he played 84 minutes.
