Google Pixel 3 Android Flagship Line Leaks In High-Res Renders

Google Pixel 3 Android Flagship Line Leaks In High-Res Renders”

This is because we have heard rumors that the Pixel 3 XL could sport an edge-to-edge display with a notch which could allow it to feature a bigger screen but maintain its size or be smaller. Alos, the Pixel 3 is tipped to measure 145.6x68.2x7.9mm, while the Pixel 3 XL is tipped to measure 158x76.6x7.9mm.

Indeed, the design in general looks similar in these images, other than the notch, though you'll note that there appears to be a dual-lens camera on the front of both phones, as has been rumored before, while the rear camera on both phones looks to be single-lens. Under the hood, will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage, whereas the Pixel 3 XL might get 6GB of RAM. The thickness increases to 8.6mm if the camera cut out is considered on both the phones. This is to accommodate the stereo speaker that Google is retaining from the Pixel 2 XL. What may disappoint the fans of Pixel smartphones it that the Pixel 3 XL will not be featuring dual rear cameras. This corroborates a recent report from Bloomberg (below), which claimed that while the Pixel 3 XL will sport a notch, its smaller Pixel 3 won't receive the same treatment. The display is also larger than last year's version, coming in at 6.2 inches.

Notches are so early 2018 - or so Oppo's Find X would have you believe - but Google seems to remain steadfast in its opinion that the notch train don't stop for nobody. And that's exactly what these CAD renders show, along with the two-tone back design that - for better or for worse - has become the Pixel's signature look.

The trend these days certainly seems to be about dual-lens cameras on the back and we wouldn't be surprised if Google were to introduce this feature this year. Rumors suggested it would have a notched OLED display made by LG, and it appears that is the case. Just yesterday, we shared with you the first detailed images and video renders showing the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones in all their glory.

The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were launched in India at Rs.61,000 and Rs.73,000, respectively.
