Amazon even let you start with a 30-day free trial and offer flexible payment plans after that; £7.99 on a monthly basis (with a flexible cancellation policy) or £79.99 upfront annual fee.

Amazon Prime Day may not be for a couple of weeks but the shopping behemoth has wasted no time in dishing out some discounts.

Sales will kick off on July 16th at 12PM PDT/3PM EDT and run through July 17th, this time with sales lasting 36 hours, up from 30 in 2017.

If this year's event is similar to previous Prime Days, you can expect to see deals going live throughout the day with some only available for a limited time. The new product launches around Prime Day will be from brands such as OnePlus, Nestlé NesPlus, Marks & Spencer, Bosch, HP, Acer, GAP, Asics and others. The sale is also a useful way to convince people to join Prime, which now has more than 100 million members globally, and buy Amazon devices to go deeper into the company's ecosystem of products and services.

For those that can't wait, Amazon has already launched one deal ahead of the main sale with customers able to grab a four-month subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited for just 99p. This Spotify rival boasts 40 million songs to listen to anywhere and anytime via the app.

Are you looking forward to Amazon's Prime Day to make a purchase you've been wanting to since long?

"They want Prime to be a must-have membership", says Suzanne Tager, who heads Bain & Co.'s retail and consumer products practices.

"Prime members will enjoy a day (and a half) of our best deals, with 36 hours to shop more than one million deals worldwide". Its members also spend more on the site than non-members.
