Scott Pruitt becomes latest Trump official to be harassed at a restaurant”

While some on the right have said Mink "harassed" Pruitt, the guests on Fox Business News (FBN) Mornings With Maria Bartiromo Tuesday thought otherwise.

He loves clean air. "Meanwhile, you're slashing strong fuel standards for cars and trucks, for the benefit of big corporations".

This is the third time in recent weeks that Trump associates have been confronted at restaurants.

Dravis recalled to investigators how Pruitt asked her to contact the Republican Attorneys General Association about a job for his wife, The Washington Post reported Monday, citing an individual familiar with the situation.

Mink teaches sixth grade at the prestigious Sidwell Friends school in Washington, DC, while counts Malia Obama, Chelsea Clinton, Punisher's Jon Bernthal, and even Bill Nye as alumni.

"He's corrupt, he's a liar, he's a climate change denier, and as a public servant, he should not be able to go out in public without hearing from the citizens he's hurting", she said in a Facebook post.

"I would urge you to resign before your scandals push you out". "She's trying to just tell the truth and get on with her life". "This is not my wheelhouse, confronting people in a restaurant". In a statement to Splinter, Mink explained: "His actions are the source of so much of my despair for my child's future and frankly the future of humanity".

The restaurant has since been besieged by protestors and death threats. Trump adviser Stephen Miller and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen were both heckled by protesters furious with the administration's "zero-tolerance" policy at the USA border, which included separating children from their families. Nielsen was a staunch defender of the administration's policy of forcibly separating children from their parents after entering the U.S. illegally.

Pruitt left after the encounter but according to his spokesman, that was not the reason.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is conducting a sweeping inquiry into Scott Pruitt's spending, ethics and management of the EPA, including his frequent first-class travel and the circumstances of a condo he rented from the wife of an energy lobbyist for $50 a night.

He has also said climate change may be good for the environment.

"Administrator Pruitt always welcomes input from Americans, whether they agree or disagree with the decisions being made at EPA".
