Upcoming iPhones may have 5 new color versions”

Multiple reports suggest Apple is looking to add a little more color to its iPhone lineup.

According to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo Apple will offer the 6.1-inch iPhone in Blue, Red, Grey, White and Orange and price it at $700.

Kuo's predictions indicate that the higher-end models still won't see quite as many options in terms of visuals, but there could be a new gold option for the larger 6.5-inch OLED display model, the most expensive one expected this year. It will be available in a multitude of colors including grey, white, red, blue, and orange.

Apple is expected to release three iPhones later in 2018, roughly designed like the current iPhone X, but in three sizes: one the same as the X, one a bit smaller, and one about the size of an iPhone 8 Plus.

Apple has made red iPhones in the past, but they have usually been introduced well into the product cycle and have had Product Red charity branding.

Citing the Korea Times, an industry official familiar with the matter stated that LG Display will be increasing its overall production capacity to provide Apple with more orders for the upcoming iPhone models. All of the devices will feature a near-bezel-less design, but the LCD model could skip out on the dual-camera setup on the back, similar to what's happened with the past two generations of iPhones.

It remains to be seen if the red color Kuo is predicting will be a Product (RED) variant, like the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are now offered in.

This is all speculation at the moment, but it comes from Kuo who has often been correct about iPhone rumors in the past.
