Amazon Prime Day vs. Black Friday: Which Has Better Deals?

Amazon Prime Day vs. Black Friday: Which Has Better Deals?”

This Black Friday-like event happens every summer, and this year is no different. If you're looking for 4K options, Amazon is now offering three 4K titles for $49.99 on select titles.

That's the kick-off for Amazon Prime Day. It all began in 2015, when Amazon had a sale to celebrate its 20th birthday.

Spotlight Deals offer deep discounts on brand-name and popular items.

To prepare for the actual Prime Day, shoppers can preview deals by downloading the Amazon app.

The deals are available to Prime members only. Keep in mind that after the 4-month deal, the subscription will revert to full price, so you'll have to pay $9.99 each month.

You can share you Amazon Prime membership with all members of your household.

How to get your $10 in free Amazon credit?

As previously reported, Prime Day is considered one of Amazon's most lucrative sales days, and the e-commerce giant claims it's never offered as many deals on launch before.

Amazon is offering Prime subscriptions in the Netherlands for €3.99 for the first month rising to €5.99 in September. The photography section isn't huge yet - so far we can see the Kindle version of Lonely Planet's Beautiful World for free at the moment, and very little else - but Amazon is refreshing it each month, so we'd expect to see more at some point in the future.
