Johnny Depp sued for allegedly attacking crew member of movie set

Johnny Depp sued for allegedly attacking crew member of movie set”

Brooks, who worked as a location manager on the film about the investigation of the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur murders, filed the suit against Depp Friday in California Superior Court.

Rocky says Depp punched him twice in the rib cage. "When PLAINTIFF did not react to DEPP's satisfaction after being punched, DEPP yelled "I WILL GIVE YOU ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS TO PUNCH ME IN THE FACE RIGHT NOW!"

Brooks said he didn't do anything, and then eventually, the bodyguards and security workers had to remove Depp from the set.

Johnny was reportedly working with two of his friends on the scene in downtown Los Angeles when Rocky approached Johnny to tell him he was on a time crunch. Brooks, according to the lawsuit, was concerned about Depp's behavior and was reaching out to the police officer when Depp screamed, "Who the (expletive) are you?"

The 53-year-old allegedly freaked out after Gregg "Rocky" Brooks told him he had to wrap a scene because the permit was running out on the LA street that had been closed for filming. "You have no right to tell me what to do". In the movie, Depp plays LAPD Detective Russell Poole, the honest officer who continued to investigate the killing years after its occurrence.

Brooks said he was sacked from the production three days later, when he refused to sign a release waiving his right to sue over the incident.

The lawsuit is said to have been filed by filed by Baker, Olson, LeCroy & Danielian and "seeks unspecified damages".

Messages left seeking comment with representatives for Depp and the production company Good Films Productions were not immediately returned.

However, despite Depp's legal troubles, a source told ET last month that the actor was "getting his life back on track" after a harrowing couple of years. The movie is set to open September 7 from Global Road Entertainment.
