The heartbroken boyfriend of tragic Love Island star Sophie Gradon has today been found dead - just weeks after her suicide.

A family source told the United Kingdom publication, "We're absolutely gutted".

The Sun Online also reports that a police spokesman confirmed the body was found at around lunchtime on Tuesday, and that there were no suspicious circumstances.

According to police, there was no third-party involvement in the death, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.

Sophie Gradon and her partner, Aaron Armstrong, on Instagram.

"I miss you so much man Sophie not a minute goes by with out your gorgeous smile being a picture in my mind everyday we spent together was so wonderful I need them days back".

Ms Gradon, who was named Miss Great Britain in 2009 and had been crowned Miss Newcastle the previous year, died on June 20.

Aaron had revealed that Sophie had died just days before his death, making the announcement on his social media account.

As news of her death emerged, Aaron posted a picture of the pair and wrote: "I will never forget that smile".

"She had suffered from depression and anxiety and there was talk of financial issues which obviously adds to the worry she was enduring". I'm heartbroken for you soph to have felt this pain.

"Please keep in mind to be a little bit kinder every day to every person in your life".

Sophie's memorial service was held last Friday and Aaron attended with close friends and family. "I love you so so much baby, you're my world forever and always".

Fellow "Love Island" contestant Katie Salmon, who coupled up with Sophie on the show, shared a heartbreaking message, alluding to suicide.
