Ferdinand challenges Mourinho to unleash Pogba at United

Ferdinand challenges Mourinho to unleash Pogba at United”

It became so popular that it was re-recorded for the France '98 World Cup, and the chorus proved so catchy that it is still sung by the hordes of England fans that travel overseas to watch their heroes.

Pogba, for his part, might not have had a great season last time around but he sure has been in excellent form in the World Cup as he has led his France side all the way to the final.

France won the 2018 FIFA World Cup after beating Croatia 4-2 in the final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday.

Former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand pays tribute to "outstanding" Ivan Perisic.

And Pogba, who played a key role throughout the tournament, scored France's third goal to put the game further beyond Croatia's grasp.

Speaking during the BBC's coverage of the World Cup, Ferdinand said: "Pogba was enormous, especially in the second half, with the pressure on his shoulders and the huge price tag above him, he has to come to the fore and he did".

Pogba celebrates with the World Cup trophy.

Ferdinand believes that Pogba struggled at United because Mourinho has not figured out the right position to play him.

The World Cup star made a decision to sing the familiar tune during a winners' photoshoot.

French World Cup star Paul Pogba raised a few eyebrows across the channel following his country's victory in Russian Federation when he chose to whip out a familiar song during a winners photo shoot.

'And this is the manager's job to figure it out'.
