In TV interview, Trump says queen called Brexit ‘complex’”

Donald Trump met Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle on Friday but the 92-year-old monarch was forced at one point to walk around the USA president after he halted abruptly during a ceremonial inspection of the guard.

The last time Donald Trump crossed the pond to visit Britain, he sat down with the TV host for an exclusive interview and in a tweet posted on Friday afternoon Morgan revealed the US president invited him on board Air Force One for round two.

Mr Trump said he did not see any Democrat who could beat him: "I don't see anybody".

"I was walking up and I was saying (to Melania) 'Can you imagine my mother seeing this scene?"

US President Donald Trump speaks with Queen Elizabeth II as US First Lady Melania Trump looks on at Windsor Castle. Up close, you see she's so attractive.

"She said it's a very - and she's right - it's a very complex problem, I think nobody had any idea how complex that was going to be", he said according to an interview published by the Mail on Sunday.

During the interview he revealed what the Queen thought about Brexit, a topic not usually discussed by the monarch. She is so sharp, so wise, so lovely.

Mr Trump later apologised to Mrs May for the furore, blaming it on "fake news" and promising instead to have a bilateral trade agreement with Britain after it leaves the European Union in March next year.

As the Queen and Mr Trump reviewed the troops, a rare honour for a visiting head of state, the American let the royal take the lead, slowing his pace to match the 92-year-old monarch. "I mean they have a lot of great products".

'I said [to Theresa May], make sure you have a carve out, you have to have a carve out, where no matter what happens they have the right to make a deal with the United States'.

'To have that meeting I think was really great.

The president largely managed to avoid mass protests planned for his visit, and has shrugged off the organised demonstrations, which on Friday included a giant baby-shaped balloon bearing Trump's features. "Tomorrow I go to Helsinki for a Monday meeting with Vladimir Putin".

During an uproarious trip to Europe, Trump has harangued members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation military alliance, scolded Germany for its dependence on Russian energy, and shocked Britain by publicly criticizing Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit strategy.
