DOTr Releases Advisory Regarding The #InMyFeelings Dance Challenge”

Police in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh also issued a warning to parents about the dangers of the Kiki challenge.

The challenge is a recent internet sensation - showing people doing the same moves that the entertainer Drake does during his hit song of the same name. The innovative messages will surely force you to think how risky this challenge can turn out to be for your life.

How the trend started: Although the "Kiki, do you love me?" song is created by Canadian rapper Drake, but the KiKichallenge went viral on June 30 when comedian Shiggy posted a video on Instagram where he was seen dancing to the song on a road.

The challenge has gone viral all over the world. In Abu Dhabi, three social media influencers were arrested after they posted videos of themselves taking part in the challenge.

"Dance on the floors, not on the roads!"

A Florida man's attempt at the "In My Feelings" challenge went horribly wrong when he was hit by a vehicle during the stunt.

"I was originally suppose to jump on the hood of the vehicle, but I slipped", Jaylen Norwood posted on Instagram after his somewhat botched effort to film his "In My Feelings" challenge. The Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Jaipur Police also posted cautionary messages on their Twitter handles highlighting the risks of the dare.

The police forces in India, have come up with new ways to use social media for safety and awareness, especially road safety awareness. Earlier, the Bengaluru Police has used tweets with references to popular sitcoms and web series to engage with the young citizens and spread awareness.
