Transfer: Wilfried Zaha confirms to teammates he is moving to Chelsea

Transfer: Wilfried Zaha confirms to teammates he is moving to Chelsea”

Zaha's stint at Old Trafford in 2013 was labeled a failure, and it is believed that he turned down a move to Everton because he wants to remain in London.

But there may be a new arrival from Palace as star man Zaha has rejected a new contract.

Do you think Zaha would be a good signing for Chelsea?

An attacker is on the agenda for the Chelsea boss as Willian appears to be pushing for a move away from west London and Zaha could be viewed as the ideal replacement for the Brazilian global.

"Over the last two seasons particularly, he's shown his maturity and his end product has got better".

The club that have seemingly shown the most interest in Zaha in the past few months is Chelsea, who could be looking to bolster their attacking ranks in the final days of the transfer window. While Hazard is expected to stay put, the Brazilian winger still faces an uncertain future, with Manchester United keen on signing him.

Instead, he is eager for a big-money move to Chelsea, with Maurizio Sarri potentially in the market for a marauding frontman should Willian leave. Zaha is thus, a viable target, who will bolster the Blues' attack irrespective of the Brazilian's departure.

Zaha is valued at £75m by Crystal Palace.

That deal would have increased his wage to £125,000 per week, but Zaha is well aware that he could earn significantly more at Stamford Bridge.

Ivory Coast global Zaha impressed with nine goals and made five assists in 29 games in the Premier League last season to earn rave reviews for his performances. But, Chelsea will hope to seal the deal when they table their late offer for the Ivory Coast worldwide.
