Trump Fires Back at Former Staffer Omarosa Manigault”

The president said that Mark Burnett, who produced "The Apprentice", called him and assured him there are "no tapes of the Apprentice where I used such a bad and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa".

President Donald Trump has lambasted former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman after she accused him of racism in her recent book, and administration officials suggest she may be in legal jeopardy.

He said that Newman made up the story about him and that the "fake news" only listened to her because she had turned against him.

"She wore that jacket to hurt Trump, setting off a controversy that he would have to fix, prolonging the conversation about the administration's insensitivity, ruining the trip itself, and trying to make sure that no one asked her to do something like that again", Manigault Newman wrote.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment Monday evening.

If he doesn't have it in his vocabulary and never did, it's a wonder he needed Apprentice producer Mark Burnett to assure him no such tape exists before tweeting out his claim he doesn't use the slur.

In interviews Monday, Manigault claimed she had other recordings from her time at the White House and that she was willing to share them with special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russian election interference and alleged collusion with the Trump campaign. People in the White House hated her. "She's certainly violating national security regulations, which I think have the force of law", he said.

"If we make this a friendly can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation and then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation", Kelly tells her.

Lotter told Cheddar's J.D. Durkin that the White House has a strict no-phone rule in the building's most sensitive areas, and the Situation Room has lockers "right outside the door", where staffers are asked to leave their phones and other smart devices.

Donald Trump and Omarosa Manigault Newman at a promotional event for "The Apprentice" in New York City. She also told MSNBC's Matthews she has "plenty" of those recordings. Manigault Newman released part of the recording Sunday on the NBC television show "Meet the Press".

"She may not even talk about it in her book, but I talk about it in mine, and she did these things to support her president and to support her friend she said she was loyal to", Ryan continued. "So this will play out in Washington, but also the law may vary with regard to security clearances and in this situation", Mullaney said.

Spicer called her claims "completely fictional", telling ABC News that he did not sign a non-disclosure agreement and called her assertion that he was paid hush money "false". Richard Painter, White House ethics czar for George W. Bush, said the NDAs "aren't worth the paper they are printed on". Guests included Conway and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
