Luke Shaw 'in no rush to sign Manchester United contract'

Luke Shaw 'in no rush to sign Manchester United contract'”

Manchester United will be without Luke Shaw for their clash against Watford after the defender suffered concussion in England's defeat to Spain.

Manchester United and England will hope his latest injury is not a major one and he recovers quickly.

The left-back needed treatment lasting almost seven minutes after a heavy fall following a collision with Spain right-back Dani Carvajal.

Shaw later tweeted on Saturday evening: "Thank you for all the love and support I am doing fine and am in the best hands".

Shaw's injury has opened the opportunity for uncapped left-back Chilwell, who moves up from the England Under-21s squad with Leicester team-mate Gray.

The players look at England's Luke Shaw on the ground after he injured himself during the UEFA Nations League soccer match between England and Spain at Wembley stadium in London, Saturday Sept. 8, 2018.

"I chose to spend mine back at home, to make sure that I'm feeling fully charged ahead of the games that are coming up soon".

Shaw superbly set up Marcus Rashford's opener on his first England start since September 2015 - an appearance that came just a week before suffering a disgusting double leg break in a Champions League tie.

Gareth Southgate also weighed in on Shaw's injury after the match, saying the team wouldn't take any chances as he continues treatment. He's talking and seems fairly comfortable.

"I thought Dele's performance was good against Spain".

"Great contribution for the goal.to come into a game after so long out of the worldwide scene is as tough a test as you can have".
