Hey, Here's the Google Pixel Slate

Hey, Here's the Google Pixel Slate”

Google is all set to host its third hardware event tomorrow in NY wherein the tech giant is rumoured to launch the next generation Pixel 3 devices along with host of new products. But this year, there's no need to wait for Google's keynote for the phone's official reveal, as many people have received units already.

As for the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, Google is expected to introduce upgraded internals as per usual, which will likely lead to some improvements in performance. The device in question is a Google-designed tablet called the Pixel Slate. Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be launched in the event. But now full images of the device have been shared by MySmartPrice that reveal a lot about the tablet. The front panel also houses a camera module and stereo speakers. With that being said, we don't expect any major change in final Google Pixel 3 version. Apart from running his own consulting firm.

Most recently, though, some of Google's accessories have since shown up online. That also looks like a soft top cover that can be folded to prop the Slate up while using the keyboard and act as a cover when not in use. In short, the Pixel 3 hardware is really only part of the story. Back in the Nexus days, HTC and Samsung both produced tablets for Google's first-party hardware lineup.

Few rumours exist on the Pixel Buds 2 wireless earphones, but the general consensus is that Google will announce new Pixel Buds at its October 9 event. We'll only know tomorrow.

Carphone is also selling the Pixel 2 on contract for as little as £22.99 per month. Likewise previous Pixel 2 devices, the new generation Pixel 3 and 3 XL will feature a single camera module at the back, which could be a 12.2MP sensor. On the other hand a report by CNET suggests that the new Chromecast model will feature Bluetooth and improved 5 GHz Wi-Fi. This new tablet was previously being referred to as "Nocturne", and it is going to come with Intel's Core i7 processor with up to 16GB of RAM.

Over the past few months, nearly everything about the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL has leaked.

So, these were the big product launches which are expected to go off tomorrow. The interesting thing about the GeekBench leak is that it showed that the Pixel Slate runs on Android 9.0 Pie, thus leading us to believe that the new Chrome OS update might arrive in the upcoming future and not on launch date.
