Why did Conor McGregor NOT speak after Khabib fight?

Why did Conor McGregor NOT speak after Khabib fight?”

The head of the Nevada Athletic Commission, Bob Bennett, told the Los Angeles Times he's launching a "comprehensive investigation" of the incident, and UFC president Dana White said late on Saturday it would not be surprising if Nurmagomedov receives a lengthy suspension and has his belt stripped.

Meanwhile, McGregor was involved in a separate skirmish with others who had jumped into the octagon before the situations were eventually diffused as the fighters were escorted from the arena.

But for all the things Nurmagomedov said McGregor shouldn't have done, no fighter can jump out of the octagon to attack someone without harsh repercussions.

UFC 229 is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET with preliminary fights before the main card kicks into gear at 10 p.m. Khabib and McGregor should go on closer to midnight as one of the most anticipated fights in MMA history builds to a climax in Sin City. "Khabib dominated the fight, won the fight by submission".

At the press conference, White indicated that McGregor refused to press charges, so the individuals were released.

"We had so many police here, I don't even know if the city was safe tonight", White cracked.

"He talked about my country, he talked about my father".

Humble in defeat, McGregor immediately took to Twitter to declare his desire for a rematch, putting pressure on Nurmagomedov to accept. "Looking forward to the rematch". While that was taking place, several of Nurmagomedov's teammates entered the cage to attack McGregor.

He suggested that Nurmagomedov would face a suspension for his postfight antics.

However for the fight to go ahead, UFC organisers need to overcome a timezone dilemma for pay-per-view buyers in the States. He looked great doing it.
