Seann Walsh & Katya Jones Apologise In First TV Appearance Since Cheating Scandal”

This week, Seann and Katya are dancing the Charleston to "Bills" by Lunchmoney Lewis.

Katya had previously apologised via Twitter, saying: "I'm so sorry about any offence or hurt I may have caused with my actions. I don't think it's a curse it just happens".

"I'm focusing on my job and doing it as professionally as I can".

But the pair have received backing from Morgan, who said he will make the effort to watch the programme because it will be "fantastically awkward" and that he "can't wait to watch them dance".

The dance pair had been photographed together on a night out, leading Walsh's girlfriend to end their relationship.

Morgan said: "I hope they come through the storm, I hope they do a fantastic performance, and I hope they rise above the fray".

Rebecca Humphries has announced that she has dumped her comedian boyfriend after his "hurtful" affair.

He said: "I think first of all I would rather not be having to address this publicly, but I feel like I have to".

"In light of the story in today's newspaper I would like to offer my honest apologies for my actions, ' Seann's statement read on Sunday, "This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for.' Katya's reiterated the drunken mistake, stating that the 'one-off mistake after some drinks" was 'not a reflection" on her five-year marriage to fellow professional dancer Neil Jones- who has also previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing.

However, Seann has now taken the opportunity to tell his side of the story - claiming he hasn't been portrayed accurately and that his relationship with Rebecca "wasn't perfect". You never think about the extent of the damage that you're going to do.

He continued: "I'm not flawless, far from it".

Speaking on Good Morning Britain during a debate over whether Walsh and Jones should pull out of the series, Morgan said: "So one drunken snog is going to ruin everything for them?"

Strictly victor and presenter Ore Oduba told Metro: "I just want the show to get back to people watching the dancing".

A second viewer fumed: "Seann Walsh responds to @Beckshumpsstatement saying: 'I feel it is important for me to say that the people that know and love me know I'm not the person I'm being portrayed as".

"This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for".

Will you be watching Strictly on Saturday night?
