Fanfare, red velvet cake for Princess Eugenie's wedding

Fanfare, red velvet cake for Princess Eugenie's wedding”

Following in the footsteps of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - who Wednesday on 19 May and had a lemon and elderflower flavour cake - the couple will forego the traditional multi-tiered iced fruit option which has been enjoyed at Royal weddings since the Victorian era.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, May 19, 2018.

Princess Eugenie will soon Wednesday fiance Jack Brooksbank - the latest grandchild of the Queen to marry their long-term partner.

The 28-year-old royal will marry Jack Brooksbank, 32, on 12 October at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Princess Eugenie's wedding is reportedly set to cost around £2 million and will include 850 guests, a £1,000 cake and a world famous opera singer.

Although Princess Eugenie admitted organizing her upcoming wedding might be nerve-wracking, she's definitely no royal bridezilla. Pipers from the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland will play, as the royal couple set off on a carriage ride through Windsor.

Eugenie and Jack may not be household names like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who married in May, but their big day will be just as important to the monarchy.

According to Express UK, Eugenie's older sister, Beatrice will serve as her maid of honour.

Further, Eugenie and Jack have asked guests to adhere to a similar dress code of "morning coat or day dress with a hat".

"I'm not stressed at all", she told British Vogue in their September issue, in her first ever joint interview with sister Princess Beatrice. "It has been lovely working with Princess Eugenie and Jack and I really hope they enjoy the cake on the day", Cabot said in the press release.
