Princess Eugenie's Official Wedding Portraits Are Here

Princess Eugenie's Official Wedding Portraits Are Here”

Princess Eugenie has released a selection of her official wedding photographs, including an extraordinary image showing her mother Fergie smiling with the Queen and Prince Philip.

The head bridesmaid is also usually in charge of corralling the flower girls and page boys, but Lady Louise Windsor was given that task.

After a traditional ceremony, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank celebrated their royal wedding on Friday, October 12 with two lavish receptions! The couple, who had dated for seven years, got engaged in January when Brooksbank, 32, proposed during a trip to Nicaragua.

Another picture of the bridal party shows Theodora, daughter of pop star Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field, standing right next to Mr Brooksbank, who rests his hand on her shoulder.

It was the second wedding extravaganza of the year for the royal family, which seems to be riding a wave of popularity as the younger generation comes to the fore and the widely-respected Queen Elizabeth II cuts back slightly on her public appearances.

The final image shows the couple at Royal Lodge, the York family home in Windsor, ahead of the private dinner Friday evening.

Later, Jack drove Eugenie away from Windsor Castle in style, wowing his new bride with a silver DB10 Aston Martin sports vehicle.

Another shot captures the ninth in line to the throne in a Zac Posen silk gown as she heads to the evening reception with her new husband.

The US designer said he was inspired by the beauty of Windsor and its surrounding countryside, and picked the colour of the dress to reflect the blush of an English rose.

The white rose of York was embroidered on both the shoulder of the dress and the fabric on the back that held together the cape, and the gown's silk came from the British Biddle Sawyer silk mill.

Competitors BBC and Sky News showed snippets of the wedding and the crowds thronging the streets of Windsor outside the castle. Her Majesty has worn them as both hair slides and brooches.
