‘SNL’ tackles President Trump’s meeting with Kanye West

‘SNL’ tackles President Trump’s meeting with Kanye West”

He continues: "I feel like when people tell me what to do, I feel like they're touching my brain".

And there was something so. familiar about the guy to "Trump". Trump (Alec Baldwin) thought to himself as he reflected on how insane West sounded. By the end of the skit, Trump surmises that West is the Black version of him. "He doesn't listen to anyone but himself. Who does he remind me of?" Trump's inner monologue asked.

Another line from the Trump character: "Black people love me way more than Alec Baldwin".

Thompson's Brown was also listening to West's talk and felt a little concerned for himself. "We've got a lot more in common than people know: We're both geniuses, we're both married to lovely women, and we've both definitely been recorded saying the n-word".

He then hugged Baldwin's Trump calling him "dad". But West's Trump infatuation and Trump's weaponizing of that interest to help peddle his "alternative facts" (lies) isn't really a laughing matter.

"What have I gotten myself into?" he says in his own voiceover.

Unless you've been living under a rock recently, you'll know that Kanye West has come in for a lot of criticism from both celebrities and non-famous folk after making his support for President Trump publicly known.

It ends with Trump telling Kanye that he loves him and that they have a lot in common: "We are both geniuses, we're both married to handsome women and we've both definitely been recorded saying the N-word".
