Meghan Markle compares pregnancy to jet lag”

Meghan Markle at Bondi Beach in Australia.

It may be a grey day in Sydney but hundreds of people have brought colour to Bondi Beach to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan Markle has turned to yoga to cope with the discomforts of her pregnancy.

Meghan, who is now pregnant with the couple's first child, donned a Martin Grant maxi dress - continuing her tradition of dressing in Australian designers during her visit Down Under.

Mental health is a topic that's important to both Harry and Meghan. "She said she was up at 4:30 a.m. this morning doing yoga in her room as she couldn't sleep".

Raising awareness surrounding mental health issues has been a cornerstone of the humanitarian work Harry and Meghan, as well as Prince William and Princess Kate.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had both arrived at the beach wearing footwear but Harry went barefoot first, before Meghan chose to follow, handing her espadrilles to her husband. Harry will be accompanied on his bridge climb by competitors from the Invictus Games - the competition for armed forces veterans which he set up.

As soon as she hit the sand, Meghan took off the shoes.

One of the biggest stories of the day was Harry and Meghan's constant PDA, including their gestures at Charcoal Lane at Fitzroy.

Despite running behind schedule, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - who will also survey the impacts of drought on the area - made sure they spent time with the eager students.
