OnePlus 6T specifications leaked again ahead of launch

OnePlus 6T specifications leaked again ahead of launch”

According to the leaked specifications sheet, OnePlus 6T carries a number of key improvements over the OnePlus 6.

OnePlus has always priced its phones reasonably, but £500 is an absolute steal when you compare the phone to other flagships, such as the Pixel 3 or Galaxy S9. The upcoming model is said to sport a fully shrunk notch on the display. Sensors on the smartphone will be an accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Also, the speaker is likely to be placed on between the camera and the frame on top. The camera app that has feature like Face Unlock, HDR, OIS, Panorama mode, and more.

OnePlus 6T will be launched on 29 October globally and in India it will launched on 30 October.

But, sadly, the device won't have wireless charging. The leak also reveals that the OnePlus 6T will be the first phone from the company to run Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Some highlights include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a smaller teardrop notch, no headphone jack, probably stereo speakers (not sure), and the usual Snapdragon 845 chipset with maybe 8 Gigs of RAM.

It's worth noting the ability to transfer wallpapers only works between OnePlus branded handsets. Up front, it will have a 20MP camera with f/1.7 aperture.

German publication WinFuture recently posted alleged pictures of the OnePlus 6T. As such, OnePlus 6T owners won't need to spend any time reshuffling apps around to get their preferred layout. The pre-order will be available exclusively on the official OnePlus Store on Lazada. Prospective consumers have to purchase an Amazon e-Gift card worth Rs 1,000 that can be redeemed to buy the OnePlus 6T, when the device goes live for open sale on November 2. For those who are not aware, OnePlus and Oppo have the same parent company, so any design that OnePlus adopts is first tested on Oppo's phones. Earlier reports had suggested that the OnePlus 6T will pack up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, much like the OnePlus 6. And, they are expected to cost Rs 37,999, Rs 40,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively. Also, the 6T will be the second smartphone to launch with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 after the Oppo R17.

In the U.S. too, T-Mobile will be offering a device for the first time.

What we don't find out from the leaked sheet is the price.
