Fortnite v6.21 update brings balloons, weapons, bug fixes and more

Fortnite v6.21 update brings balloons, weapons, bug fixes and more”

The current Fortnite event, Fortnitemares, will be coming to a close on November 4 at 1pm ET and will usher in what the Fortnite Twitter account is calling a "one-time event".

Balloons became the newest Fortnite item Thursday when Epic Games released Fortnite Patch 6.21.

Allows the player to defy gravity by holding up to 6 balloons at a time. You can find balloons in chests, floor loot, vending machines, supply drops and loot llamas.

Balloons can of course be popped by enemies, leading to some potential disasters if you're not careful. Players can inflate them by the primary fire button and let them go using the secondary fire button.

Fortnite is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and select Android devices. The re-deploy feature was originally introduced in Soaring 50's, since then, it has been available in every Fortnite game mode during a week-long testing period. "We will post an update as soon as we have more information".

Alongside that the Semi-Auto Sniper, Guided Missile and Dual Pistols have been vaulted! The new patch also brings some adjustment to grappler player velocity in passenger vehicle, also, the grappled vehicle now travels in a straight line instead of moving in an arc.

- Reduced volume of Cube Monsters and dynamic spawners. The only thing we know for sure is that if you're a diehard Fortnite fan, you'll want to be in a match during that time Sunday.

During Fortnitemares, the cube created Halloween-themed monsters, but as the Halloween event will soon be over, the monsters will have to leave, and they'll probably be taking the cube with them. A lot of players weren't happy with the initial decision, which Epic even mentions in the patch notes: "We understand that not all players agree with this change, but we would like to continue with this functionality in the game based on the positive results we've been seeing".
