AWS announces 13 new machine learning services and capabilities”

Finally, Amazon unveiled a number of new AI services that allow developers to add intelligence to their applications.

"We are happy to have Check Point as a launch APN Partner integrating the CloudGuard IaaS solution with AWS Security Hub", said Dan Plastina, Vice President, Security Services, Amazon Web Services, Inc. Developers can now sell their ML models and algorithms on AWS Marketplace.

"Reinforcement Learning is one of the technologies that are used to make self-driving cars a reality; the AWS DeepRacer is the ideal vehicle (so to speak) for you to go hands-on and learn all about it". It's trained using reinforcement learning, an AI technique that means the auto will learn to drive better through trial and error. "So, today we're offering an immutable, transparent, and cryptographically verifiable ledger, based on the same one that AWS teams have been using for years at scale, as a fully managed service".

In addition to the vehicle itself, AWS is launching the DeepRacer League, an autonomous racing league that will hold matches at Amazon cloud events all next year. "When users search for products in Private Marketplace, they can see which products are labelled as "Approved for Procurement" and quickly filter between their company's catalogue and the full catalogue of software products in AWS Marketplace", Ray says.

Trials for the competition already began on Wednesday on a track at the MGM Grand, with the top three finishers to compete the following day during a keynote address. Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth learns the labels for a data set in real time as they're applied by humans.

According to the company's CEO, AWS is merely responding to increasing demand from their existing customers.

"The problem with ML today is that most companies do not know what they want to do with it. The culture inside AWS is that we don't just build things... we understand what problem you want to solve and we then solve it for you". AWS Security Hub provides users with a comprehensive view of their high-priority security alerts and compliance status by aggregating, organizing, and prioritizing alerts, or findings, from multiple AWS services, such as Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, and Amazon Macie as well as from AWS Partner Network (APN) security solutions.

"With so much data that we can collect, we can use it to predict results in a race, [such as] whether or not a racer could overtake others", said Brawn. Customer reviews, 1-Click shopping, personalized recommendations, Prime, Fulfillment by Amazon, AWS, Kindle Direct Publishing, Kindle, Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Echo, and Alexa are some of the products and services pioneered by Amazon.

AWS is not content to cede any part of any market to any company. In third is Chinese internet giant Alibaba, which has 4.6 percent of the market share. Customers will have the opportunity to run other software with native AWS Outposts, starting with a new integrated offering from VMware called VMware Cloud Foundation for EC2, which will feature popular VMware technologies and services that work across VMware and Amazon EC2 environments.

"This will allow the processing of millions of document pages in a few hours", Amazon said in a statement.
