Yanks President Randy Levine Says "No" to WH Chief of Staff Job

Yanks President Randy Levine Says

"We're in no rush", Trump said during an Oval Office meeting with Democratic congressional leaders, adding he plans to announce his pick "over a period of a week or two, or maybe less". Conway said he will be staying until January 2 "at least" and added, when asked, that Trump may choose to keep him on even longer.

The US President Donald trump said that the post of chief of staff the White house claimed more than 10 candidates. Why would anyone not want one of the really great and important work in Washington.

Trump's first choice was reportedly Nick Ayers, and not just because he already had a similar job as chief of staff to Vice President Mike Pence.

Still, Bossie took to Fox News on Tuesday morning to address his position on the list of contenders, calling it "humbling" as he coyly touted his qualifications for the post. The report also describes White House officials as convinced that special counsel Robert Mueller won't find enough in terms of potential collusion with Russian Federation to convict the president of a crime. "And it's a personal decision for the president", she told AP.

Trump said in a tweet Tuesday morning that "over ten" people were interested in the job.

Ayers was reported to be the leading candidate to replace John Kelly as Trump's chief of staff when Kelly departs at the end of the month. Trump's mercurial personality and his resistance to being managed make the position a unique challenge.

Some potential candidates, particularly those now working in the administration, have signaled that they do not want the position, such as Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, and Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney.

"Look, it's an honor even to be considered", Santorum said, not an encouraging start.

Some people who are cropping up in the free-for-all discussion of possible successors to outgoing chief of staff John Kelly appear to be pulling themselves out of consideration.
