Nokia 9 PureView leaked renders will set your hearts racing

Nokia 9 PureView leaked renders will set your hearts racing”

Apart from the penta-lens setup, the phone is expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is also likely to carry a Zeiss logo alongside the PureView branding.

Despite being referred to as PureView, the name didn't appear on the device itself though. There is no word if the 3.5mm audio jack will be retained but as we are still in the transitionary period, it would be a good idea to keep it. Pricing of the smartphone has yet to be revealed but if you add that premium glass back and front, the Penta-less camera and high-end specifications, we could easily be looking at something between $800-$900. This means that, besides stock Android 9 Pie straight out of the box, owners should expect updates to Android Q and Android R once they arrive.

The official-looking image matches the earlier render that was provided by @Onleaks two months ago via @91Mobiles. The Nokia 9 is said to feature full-screen Full HD+ or Quad HD+ panel with slimmer bezels. The handset will be fueled by Snapdragon 845 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. It is also rumoured that it will have a 4,150mAh battery, which is more than the Galaxy Note9 but slightly smaller than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The main highlight of the device will be its camera.

The device is expected to be launched on the last week of January 2019.

Putting more cameras might not necessarily make photography better. At the moment, the P20 Pro is still the highest rated smartphone on DxOMark Mobile with a score of 109.
