McDonald's customer charged with battering workers

McDonald's customer charged with battering workers”

The man identified as Daniel Taylor is seen in the video grabbing female employee Yasmine James by the shirt and tried pulling her towards her.

James fights him off while managing to deliver multiple punches to and near his face.

Taylor kept screaming at workers while he was being escorted out by McDonald's management and he kicked another employee who was standing near the door in the stomach, police said.

"It all started because he wanted a straw", Kinie Biandudi said in a Facebook post sharing the video "The young girl said she used to box ".

The altercation escalated when 40-year-old Daniel Taylor walked over to the condiment bar to grab a straw and ran into some complications.

"He was very upset, he started berating her, swearing, saying 'There's no law like that, '" Biandudi told BuzzFeed News.

James said she wants to use the incident as a way to fight violence against women. However, after police found it hard to find Daniel Taylor, the 41-year-old who attacked Yasmine James, Biandudi's son and daughter posted it on their respective social media accounts.

Biandudi says Taylor refused to accept that answer, reaching over the counter and grabbing the worker.

"No, you're going to go to jail. You should try to avoid physical confrontation, but if someone put hands on you, you have to defend yourself", she continued. He was eventually arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery.

One man from St. Petersburg, Florida in the United States was recently captured assaulting a McDonald's employee.

A statement from McDonald's said, "Our highest priority is always the safety and well-being of our employees and customers at our restaurants".

By that time, Biandudi had gotten her order and gone outside to her daughter. "I think they acted appropriately", she said.

A police affidavit revealed more violence that didn't appear on Biandudi's video. "We need to just treat each other right". A representative of the St. Petersburg Police Department tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the security tape is not being released at this stage of the investigation.
