Kendall Jenner isn't gay, she's just the new face of Proactiv

Kendall Jenner isn't gay, she's just the new face of Proactiv”

'Seeing you share your most raw story in order to make a positive impact for so many people and help foster a positive dialogue is a testament to the incredible woman you've become'. I'm very normal. And like, I understand you.

Kendall Jenner is facing backlash online after the "raw and personal announcement" that she hinted at on Instagram turned out to be a sponsorship deal with acne brand, ProActiv. "When I was 14 I couldn't reach as many people as I can now", Kendall says in the video.

She told her followers to head to the model's Twitter page on Sunday to uncover the details "and be prepared to be moved".

She continues, saying, "I experience it".

Someone else added: 'I am glad she will be telling her story about anxiety.

The proud momager then followed this with an abundance of hashtags: '#bethechange #shareyourstory #changetheconversation #proudmum #finallyasolution #authenticity #mydaughterinspiresme #getready'.

"Never let that sh*t stop you!" she tweeted past year after a fan praised her for "showing up and strutting her acne".

"For me, I can honestly say that the magic was Proactiv", Kendall says. "Like, I can connect with you".

Others referenced another sponsorship gone wrong for Kendall: Pepsi, which infamously pulled a 2017 ad featuring the model after an onslaught of criticism about the commercial, which made vague references to Black Lives Matter and other social justice movements and seemed to reduce serious issues to a universal need for the carbonated soft drink.

"Happy new year!" Kendall wrote.

Though, to be fair, there's nothing more Kardashian than a paid sponsorship.

The supermodel and reality TV star announced that she's the new spokesperson of the skin-care brand exactly one year after walking the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globes, where a few social media shamers called her out for not being able to cover up her acne breakout.
